Tom281, Thank you
I just installed my bassani o/r x this weekend and was baffled by the noise. I did notice the two manifold flanges looked a little different than each other in the way they sat, but they were tight so I figured they were good.
Now I know how to fix it! Thanks for the info!

As I was just about to tear the dash out of my car today you made your post about the TSB's and I started looking under the car again. I have always said that this buzz started the day I had the Prochamber installed. Well I was correct. Thanks to you Steve I did a search and found this http://bradbarnett.net/mustangs/gala...er_console.pdf
So I raised the car back up this afternoon and found that the exhaust hanger on the drivers side of the transmission mount was loose just like the TSB says. Here is why it is loose...take a look at the pictures and you can see that the hanger on the Prochamber is welded out of position and forcing the rubber bushing all to one side. I now believe this forced the hanger to loosen itself as I drove with the stock H pipe for 1 1/2 yrs. with no issues. Now for the fix. Per the TSB a $1.25 SS band clamp fixed the issue. While I am not thrilled about such a chicken chit kind of fix... it works.
Buzzing is Gone!!
Thanks again Steve for making me take another look.

Scott, until both you and Steve found the fix for that dreaded buzzing noise, I was just about ready to pull the plug on the Prochamber and consider going with both the Magnaflow off road X and axle backs instead although until I find out for sure as to whether or not the Prochamber is 304 grade Stainless Steel ? there's still the chance that I may still pull the plug..Therefore, if anybody knows what grade of SS the Prochamber is, I'd really appreciate it very much...Thanks

Check them good... I was amazed how small the wiggle was in the hanger that was making all that noise. I almost did not fix it like the TSB said because I thought it wasn't that loose. Forget hitting it with a hammer like the TSB says. See if you can wiggle it with your fingers a little bit. Thats all mine did.

This problem isn't unique to the Mustang. The Crown Vic has the same vibration in the windshield at certain speeds. My new 07 GT/CS gets that same vibration every so often as well. Looks like I'll invest in a couple of band clamps.

Are you still running your offroad legs on your Prochamber?? I know at one time you were think of going back to a catted setup.
