Prochamber guys..

I have a few questions :

1. Are any of you running a pro kit lowering setup, with 20'' rims?
2. How much ground clearance do you have on eibach pro kits?
3. How "Bad" is the Drone with the prochamber? I had one on my foxbody, and it was bad. I was thinking of getting a prochamber, and putting resonators in the exhaust system to take it away.

Ive been doing research on s197's,and ive seen a lot of guys get "raspy" exhaust sounds from an X pipe. I wanted to stay away from the X,and possibly get an H pipe,or a prochamber setup. If anyone has some advice,id be grateful. Thanks.

Yes.

Fine.

I dont think its bad at all. I ran it on my 2V and loved it. IMO it sounds great.

Pro-kit with 20's -Yes
Ground clearance- Fine
Running catted prochamber with mac axleback. You do get a little drone around 2500RPM, but not that bad. No "raspy" noise. Mac exhast sounds great.

I would't run the resonators if i were running mufflers out back also. The prochamber is great, I didn't notice any increase in drone... My advice would be to run the prochamber with the pypes mid muffler because it sounds FN AWESOME!!! I have Minimal drone...

Well I was looking at a JBA H pipe for 160 today, and I didnt know if I should go with an H pipe or a prochamber. I know it all depends on what type of sound I want, but its a hard decision.

Basically I want an aggressive(and somewhat "loud") sounding mustang, but I want minimal drone, and no raspy "metallic" sound that "x pipes" supposedly produce on the 3v's. I really dont care about the hp/tq loss by not running a x setup,I just want a good sounding car without the headache of droning.

Offroad prochamber is the only way to go. I have stock mufflers with O/R prochamber and it's great no drone at all. If you have to use cats get the H pipe.

Im not sticking with the cats,I have never had cats on most of my cars, and this one wont be any different. You guys are pretty much selling me on getting another prochamber. I loved on the one I had on my foxbody. But the 302 wasnt as aggressive sounding with a prochamber,as a 3v.

I'm running Steeda ultralite springs on 20" rims. Cleanrance is good. No drone and no raspyness or trumpeting. Its paired with some GTA axle-backs and it sounds perfect.

I understand that, but pretty much everyone has an idea of what a drone is. I had one on my foxbody, and it annoyed the **** out of me.

I have the O/R prochamber w/ stock mufflers. And you can hardley tell in the car that the exhaust is not stock. I want the Mid muffler system so bad, I just don't know how it would sound. I don't want 1 TO loud

hmm, thats strange. I figure removing the cats on the exhaust system would make things pretty loud. I guess its all in the muffler system.

so im seeing people are rec. either the mac axleback,GTAs,or the PMM system. how much do you think those combinations would cost?
