Pro 5.0 shifter install instructions

I purchased a pro shifter off a mustang forum and wanted to know where I can find a link for installing the pro shifter. I did find install instructions for a hurst shifter which I'm sure is the same concept but if I can find it for the pro would be great. Thanks for your help guys.

That link is for the SN95, not the S197. The Hurst instructions you saw should be basically identical, also go to mgwltd.com for videos on theirs. All the Mustang shifters are basically the same install method, maybe a bit different in adjustment and such.

Just FYI, I've installed the Pro 5.0 shifter in two S197s, my previous 2005 GT and my current 2008 SGT, and did not have to remove the driveshaft for either install. Its a little tight, but I had no problem doing this in my garage with a floor jack, stands and simple hand tools.

I have been running the Hurst handle/**** on my Pro 5.0 since installing the shifter and really like the set-up. Here's a place on Ebay with everything needed to install one including the chrome handle, **** and the boot grommet.
