Okay since the last several weeks of posts have been lost I'll ask for some advice again....

I purchased a Diablosport Predator for an '05 GT from an individual, but when I received I realized that the unit was for the Vortech equipped GT's. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banghead.gif[/img]

Unit appears to be brand new as advertised and even came with one of the Diablosport MAFia units. Unfortunately the seller failed to advertise the part about the Predator being the Vortech version.

My first thought was that with the ability to download updates to the Predator, that maybe I could somehow obtain the correct programming for my unmodified GT. If this isn't possible, then I guess I'm looking at trying to sell or trade for what I need. I'm sure I'll have to talk to Diablo about this, but was wondering if anyone had any knowledge about what the unit's capabilities are. I'm itching to flash the car to see the results before doing any mods.

Any suggestions?

 

I would talk to Diablo first thing and see what they have to say. The MAFia should have been a clue. There's absolutely no need for a MAF extender on a an N/A car.

The capabilities "should" be the same, but I'm not completely sure about that and there's only one way to find out.

 

Thanks Tony. I'm going to give them a call. In one of the threads that got erased, someone gave me the name of someone w/Diablo, Cory I think, to speak with. U r right about the MAFia being a clue... my "little voice" doesn't react as fast as it used to.
