I just bought a used predator for my 07 on ebay and when I tried to use it it say's that it is not licensed for use on this vehicle. Anyone know what this means ?

A tuner can only be locked to one vehicle. Unless the seller of the tuner returns his tune back to stock the tuner is useless to you. However, the seller had to know this when he sold it to you. You should request a refund.

 

Also keep in mind that Predator made a tuner strictly for 2007 models, the other worked with 2005 or 2006.

 

i saw one for 282$ thought it was too good to be true is this the one you got?

 

This is true, several people have be stumped with this one.

282 isnt bad if its unlocked, not really to good to be true because you still need tunes that are worth a **** so that is another 100-150 for them so you are always better off just getting a new tuner from Bamachips, Brenspeed or VMP.

 

if it's good product & functional ask seller to put tune back in then try and because he/she goofed have them pay shipping, they may have just forgot ?
