I have noticed recently that Steeda has put out a kit that supposidely fixs the vibration from shifters like the Hurst and Tri-ax. I have not noticed it on their website but instead on a private vendors. I cannot seem to recall which one at the moment but I just thought I would put this out there for the guys that are having vibrations problems. The kit itself looks to be pretty simply, basically a piece of rubber to go in between the the shifter assembly and the shaft that holds the shift ball/**** at the connection with the two-bolts. Seems like it would reduce the 'tuning fork' effect a bit, and it is cheap (like 8 bucks). Anyways, hope this helps.

No, but I bet if you called Steeda they would know exactly what you were talking about. I bet you could probaly even make it yourself if you had time. Basically a relatively thin piece of rubber with holes for the two bolts to go through... [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumb.gif[/img]

That rubber piece is standard with the Tri-Ax shifter and it still vibrates. See the very end of the tri-ax thread in my sig how I fixed my vibration problems. I haven't had any issue since.
