Went to the track tonight. My car is an auto, jlt2 intake, steeda udp, tuned by Doug. Stock Tire pressure. Did a little dry burnout to clean tires before each run.

First run: 93 Torque with 6250 Shifts, launched around 1500
60' 2.093
1/8 8.765@82.16
1/4 13.513@103.16

Second run: 93 Perf with 6250 Shifts, launched 1500
60' 2.093
1/8 8.758@82.22
1/4 13.505@103.22

Third and BEST EVER: 93 Perf 6250 Shifts, launched 2000 (never tried this high before)
60' 2.028
1/8 8.539@83.58
1/4 13.227@104.32

Im very pleased with the new tunes doug sent me. I did launch the 93 Torque tune at 2000 but as we all no too much torque on stock tires no traction, it spun to much to get a good time. Plus the torque doesnt have as good top end. What do you think should be next? 3.73 or 4.10. Keep in mind i drive around 80mph on the highway daily

Nice!!

With Dougs tunes, 1 of 2 things can happen.. You will do a personal best on the track, or go to jail for speeding.. Either way, the track seems more appropriate when dealing with Dougs tunes! Wish he made Diablo tunes..

I just kept my foot on the brake will all i could, it may be around 1900 wasnt really watching, paying more attention to the tree, but it was enough to feel the whole car load and feel just about to break the tires. Btw what is the stock stall speed? 2500?

Im going back this friday, so ill let you know for sure exactly where my revs are at.

I've read in MM&FF ( I think) that the stock converter has an 1800 stall.

Those are great times. Last year I never did a brake load when I launched, or if I did I only got it up to 1k or so. I'm going to try the 1800-2000 launch this year and see what it does.

Great times
