I agree, you are the one driving the car and most likely getting a lot of looks too.

Take a look at the soon to be released "Eleanor" package from Cervinis.

It follows your theme nicely.

Vegas, I like the car. bout the only thing I dont like is the GT /snake. I am anxiously waiting for someone to remove the GT emblem and see how far apart the holes are.
Yours reminds me some of a 76 Maverick I had years ago. It had a 302 and 3spd in the floor. I removed the front bumper and fabricated a front valance similar to the old Maier racing one for early Mustangs, only it was more angular. I took a hood scoop of a comet (Much like the Boss 429) and made it functional, as well as sealing it to the air cleaner for a true cold ram air. I scrounged some taillight off a 67 Cougar as well as the Magnum 500s. It was a female dogin little car complete with the Cobra snake emblems. Never got anything but compliments with it. I wish I still had some pics of it to post.
Point is, this facet of hotrodding has been relabeled as rice by this generation. Totally not. Hot rodding is about individualism. I had a one of a kind Maverick. It wasnt a Shelby, but as Shelby had strong ties to Ford performance, that was the design key. It had GT 350 stripes as well.
I have a Redfire premium GT on order (since Nov 26). Cant wait for it to get here.
I have some mods planned, the first being alreay ordered dealer option 17" polished bullits with pony spinners which should be here when the car is.
I have to keep the little woman happy so stripes wont be a part of the package.
However I will add a hood scoop or hood with scoop when I can settle on something I like. I've been perusing here http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/keyword.a...d+scoop&x=0&y=0
for original Ford scoops as well as looking at various 2005 specific hoods and scoops.
I like the CDC scoop, as well as the RK Sport hood here
http://www.lmperformance.com/5325/73.html
The RK is functional.
I also plan to replace the GT side emblem with this one,
http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/itemdy00....=S7MS16098AR+01
so I need to know about alingment holes on the current GT emblem.
Some type of Shelby emblem will replace the GT on the rear cap as well.
As to performance it will be mild, a cold air kit, H&R springs to lower it a bit, and a SCT.
Anyways, long live hot rodding!

Yah, you don't want her to come out P'ed off, with half her "cosmetic's" done! To pull the Elanor kit off, thier definitely doing right to take thier time with this one. Expectation's are going to be very, very high!

Hey Eriic - u check out his latest and future mods? he'll kill himself with the nitrous, but everything else sure seems like it belongs on an 05 to me! Besides, this car was built to look like the '67 - and it does, thankfully! Can u come up with a better role model for your car? I'm mad at Justin, but only for getting his 05 before me and getting a head start on the retrofitting. If making your new car look more like the old car it was designed after, (especially the '67 GT 500), is wrong, I don't want to be right. I wouldn't add the decals personally, but thats just bc the 05 doesn't have 500 HP... yet! B)

I thought about red stripe's as my interior is red, but white just looked "right".

Minor Update: I had to re-order the Scott Drake 68 Cobra's, because I'm not sure the other ones will survive moving them.
They will be here monday, I'll post Pic's when I'm finished. Also I'll post Pic's of what's under the GT fender emblem's for those that are curious....
