As Per Ford Cataloging The Coupes Used These from 03/26/07. Verts Used them From 01/31/05. The FRPP Part is Far Cheaper than the OE Replacement.
Part Number 4r3z5025a. More Ford Parts Pricing Weirdness. I will Send an Email to FORD and See what they Say. Sorry I am Not an FRPP Dealer. I use Pat at Colorado Mustang for my FRPP Needs. He can be Contacted direct at 1-303-343-7024. Tell em KC sent you! Be Sure to See if your Car has This Before Ordering as FORDS Parts Cataloging is not Always 100%
FYI,

Thanks KC! The OE part is significantly more expensive ($160+), and IIRC, the OE part does not include the 4 nylock nuts. Ford wants something like $3 per nut. So that's around $172+.
The FRPP part is the same OE part with the 4 nylock nuts all for under $60 shipped.

OK.. just installed the FRPP A-arm brace... here's my observations (with only 2 hours of road test):
1. Definitely tightened things up in the front end. I can also confirm that going over speed bumps (less than 1 mph) there is now less noise and seemed to traverse the bump smoother.
2. On the flip-side, the overall ride does seem a bit rougher... not sure if the FRPP brace is now picking up some harmonic vibration from my MAC Boomtubes, but I can definitely feel a constant vibration under my feet and also feel it through the shift handle... increases as Boomtube volume increases. The vibration is to the point of starting to put my left foot asleep after 20 min of driving. Not a shaking vibration, but a steady low-wave type. Not sure, but it may be due to the fact the brace is not torqued completely to spec. When I was trying to torque down, the stud began to push up against my standard depth 15mm socket... didn't have a deep 15mm socket, so had to try to torque by hand using a standard 15mm open-end wrench (and a few taps from a hammer). Anyway, just picked up a set of craftsman metric deep sockets, so I'll attempt to torque to spec (40-45 ft lbs) tomorrow. Any thoughts on whether this may have caused the vibration? Anyone who has installed this brace: did you notice more floor vibration?

OK, I was able to torque to spec (45 ft/lbs)... and floor vibration (mild) is still present. BTW, never attempt to work around the Cats after a long drive... burned the **** out of the back of my hand. Deep socket got stuck on nut, so I was pulling socket to free it.. it did free, but forgot about the Cat pipe just a few inches behind bar.. back of hand slammed right into pipe leaving a nice 2" blistered welt.
OE a-arm brace VS. Aftermarket?
Has anyone had the oem-style a-arm brace on their car, then swapped it out to say, a CHE-brand k-member brace (w/o engine torque limiters)?
Curious if there was any difference noticed in them.
I haven't driven a GT 'vert yet, but drove a '07 V6 convertible a few weeks ago and the front end felt like my '93 5.0 'vert. Cured the '93 by adding a Kenny Brown k-member brace. Ride was tight, but not "rough"
After some research on this site, I checked a few 'Stangs on some area car lots and they all had the "factory" brace.
Next week I will be going to pick up a '07 GT 'vert so it will be interesting to see how that car drives-I assume it will already have the factory brace.

OK resurrecting an old thread here - my wife got me one of these for Christmas and I'm not very happy at the moment. I jack up the car, get under there and there's no place to mount the brace
. My car was built 12/04 so that might be the cut-off date for the flanges mentioned in a previous post in this thread. Does anyone know if FRPP will either refund my money or give me the correct parts for an early 05? Believe me, they're gonna get an email about this. Fracking bull****.

Our 2007 GT/CS coupe came with this brace already on it! Our Stang's build date was 05-09-07. Found this old TMS file picture in the site's photo collection. To share a visual for those fellow Mustang folks, that didn't have this factory brace installed on their pony.

I called Ford Racing and the guy who answered the tech line said I'd have to drill holes to get the thing to fit
. Apparently they (Ford Racing) are well aware that the thing won't fit early S197's, but don't see the need to put a disclaimer on their site where the part is listed
. So I have to go buy a $75 right-angle drill to get this part to fit? No thanks - I'll return it to Brandon Ford and go buy the BMR piece. BMR's shop is 15min from my office.

MTAS: Sorry that it didn't work out for you. The BMR piece looks great and I said before I only opted for the FRPP/OEM brace because it was the lightest option.

What is the car to the left of the picture? I can see a lower body stripe.
I finally got the opportunity to install the FRPP/OEM A-Arm brace. I used a 1/2" drive 15mm socket to tighten the 4 included nylock nuts. I torqued them to 46 ft-lb and it seemed like a solid fit. It took me less than an hour to drive up the Rhino Ramps and install the bar.
The part number for the bar and 4 nuts: M-5025-A
