OEM A-Arm Brace Installed
I finally got the opportunity to install the FRPP/OEM A-Arm brace. I used a 1/2" drive 15mm socket to tighten the 4 included nylock nuts. I torqued them to 46 ft-lb and it seemed like a solid fit. It took me less than an hour to drive up the Rhino Ramps and install the bar.
The part number for the bar and 4 nuts: M-5025-A

I paid just about $59 shipped from John Bleakley Ford. I did take pics and I will try to upload them ASAP. I haven't actually driven the car on the road because I was in the process of taking the Stang out of winter hibernation. I will post an update/review later. For those tuning in, the A-arm brace was only equipped on 05-up convertibles, 07-up GT500s, and every 08-up S197. Since I have a 2007, I did not have the A-arm brace but the K-member did have the correct flanges. This was a simple bolt-on without any fuss or mess.

Here's a photo of the A-arm brace installed.
The FRPP unit is the same as the OEM brace, but includes the 4 nylock washers and nuts. IIRC, if you order the OEM brace using the OEM Ford part #, it will run $186 and does NOT include the nuts.

It definitely tightened up the front end. The car felt solid when going over bumps. I don't recall hearing a "SQUIDGY" sound when going over a speed bump. In the slow turns, the car feels very light on its feet. I think I screwed up this test because I had been driving the Crown Vic for the past 5 months and was just shocked that I wasn't bracing against the door and instrument panel in a corner.
Just as an FYI... mid-year the '07 GT's started getting these stock.. so make sure you need it before you order
I don't have an exact date, but I have a build date of 30 apr and it has it, and I have seen cars with a build date of mid-dec without it..
