OEM A-Arm Brace Installed
Although the g-trac uses the control arm bushings as mounts, along with using the threaded portion of the bolts, in providing support for the K-member.
We're not talking about using the g-trac as a major chassis support component here. As the the current S-197 chassis, is already strong and supported enough as is.
The purpose of the g-trac, is designed to just enhance chassis support, and nothing more. As for the threaded portion of the bolts being the weakest, I can assure you that these bolts are extremely thick/huge, and will not bend or break lol.
Also, the g-trac is actually lighter than the OEM A-arm brace

The OEM A-arm brace weighed something like under 3 lb IIRC. Since it is mounted closer towards the vehicle's CG, I'm not too worried. The G-Trac and CHE appear to use much thicker steel in larger quantities. Since the OEM brace is good enough for the GT500, I felt it was more than adequate for my 300 hp GT.
I've bought Steeda stuff in the past and wasn't too thrilled when I found out that their early 2V underdrive crank pulley could cause oil pump failures. I also saw their air compressor inline filter, or rather "PCV oil separator" which was a major disappointment.

+1. Steeda stuff has never failed to disappoint. I have their CAI and wheels, both "skimp" on quality.
O Well Thanks.

I was sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with Steeda products in the past. However I'm quite certain if you had reported your defective 2V underdrive crank pulley to Steeda. They would've gladly refunded your purchase, or exchanged the defective part.
I'm also certain there's vendors other than Steeda, who also run into problems with defective parts once in awhile as well.
But when it comes to Steeda Parts, I can tell you with confidence that I've never encountered a problem with any of their products, including my underdrive pulleys.
In fact my main reason for purchasing their products, is because there developed in conjuction with Ford Motor Company engineers through their technology transfer program. Which is more than good enough for me

I'm not trying to make excuses Charlie, but I'm sure there's been others beside Steeda who've also had product design flaws, in the past as well.
What matters most, is that those design flaws have since been corrected and revised. Unlike Ford who still hasn't lifted a finger, in fixing their lousy 2 piece design/flawed spark plugs, at least not for those who have 2005-07 models
As for the OEM A-arm brace, I'm quite certain it's also a fine quality product as well. I just prefer the Steeda g-trac brace, a little bit more that's all.

Steeda has yet to replace all existing 2V underdrive crank pulleys although their latest design does have the OEM-sized damper. So it appears they have the same modus operandi as Ford.

OK called JBF today to check on the status of my order and found out that due to overwhelming orders they are currently still out of stock. I placed my order back on the 14 th and I still have not gotten mine. I am supposedly first on the list when their new shipment of 20 arrives which should be Tuesday possibly Wed.
He was like Man we had a huge run on them all of a sudden. I said Yeah i know it is because of the Mustang Forum TMS.

Well then if yours shipped out they certainly are not shipping in order of received which is BS.
It took me three tries to get this part from JB Ford: 2 via phone contact (which were unsuccessful), and 1 internet order, which proved to be the charm. Ordered it on a Wednesday and had it by Monday. An easy install, and thanks to this thread, torqued to spec. +1 for posting this thread, Metroplex.
