odd thing happened tonight...
drove the car to work today(had been going thru withdrawl) and went to leave- started it up, went to take off, it went about a foot and died(stick- I didnt stall it) had to try to start it 3 times before it would finally stay running, but had ZERO throttle response- sat there chugging at 500 RPM for about 10~15 seconds, could move the pedal all you wanted, but just chugged rough at exactly 500 rpm. shut it off, started it again and perfectly normal, no fault lights or anything. it was raining a little today, guess I'd better check the passenger carpet make sure I didnt spring a leak in the SJB area(as ive read is common), but as everything was fine on the way home, kinda doubt that.
anyone recall hearing of, or having any similar issues???

Strange indeed. I do remember reading somewhere on here a similar problem, but I cannot for the life of me remember what the problem was, or the solution. Maybe try searching for some things and see what you come up with.

Mine will do that if I don't wait about 20 seconds or so before jumping in and taking off.
The colder it is, the longer it seems to need to wait. Not a big deal, as I like to wait at least that long if not longer before driving away.

Mine died on the way to work today. It acted the same way. I tried to start it a few times and then remembered the fuel shut off reset button. I pushed that twice and I was off again. I guess its from the roads going to hell in the winter months...to many pot holes
