OK well I'm just about as stupid as they come, but while I was at my brothers place last night we hooked up his lap top to my GT. it was cool looking at everything that program would do, like on board trouble shooting, too bad we were working on our second Gray Goose Martini, so I could not snoop to see about that global window BS, but theres always next time. I also noticed that the MAF sensor doubles as a temp intake, or maybe all cars are like that, anyways, it was fun to play with it. Tim

How did you hook the laptop up to the car?
XCAL2?
Also what program were you using to see all on board stuff?

Thanks!

I'll get the details from my brother, as to what program, but it plugged in under the dash, just to the left of the steering wheel. This program also read his 06 Z06, and both of his Nissans,

Sounds like a Mastertech or TechII. Or one of many fancy snap-on tools out there.
