O/R X-pipe + Stock Mufflers: Yes or no?
#23
Should I do shortie headers at the same time as the H pipe? How hard is the drivers side? Does the BBK or MAC shorties fit better than one another? I would like a clean simple install for shorties...

It all depends on your personal sound preference. If you prefer a deeper muscle car sound, you do not want to run an X-pipe. As X-pipes are well known for sounding higher pitched along with sounding more raspy/tinny, than with off road or stock H-pipes.
On the other hand, if you prefer a more smoother and exotic exhaust note. Then an off-road X-pipe would definitely be your best choice.

I finally got around to installing the midpipe. Overall, I like the sound. It doesn't sound no where near as bad as people were saying it would be. It is definetly louder than I was expecting, and the fumes are worse than I was expecting also. One thing that I wasn't expecting at all is how much things vibrate in the car. I can feel a little bit more power in the mid range, seems like I can chirp 2nd easier.
