New GT, chaning oil at 500 miles.. switch to synthetic now?

mobil 1 has been tested to still be in good working order at 18k miles. Thats why I alway say change at 8 to 10k miles using mobil 1 and you will still be more than safe with it. There are places that will test your oil. It really is a total waste to change your mobil one oil at 3k miles.
Dirty looking oil does not mean it is bad it means its working.

there is a better oil out ther than mobil one but its a little more of a pain to get its called Amsoil.

its a waste of our resorses, time, effort and cash to change your oil so often. Why are gas/oil prices so high? Because we are wasting it!!
lots of reading in the two links I posted.
If your engine blows and the manufacture says its because of your oil. Simply have them test it and prove them wrong. Its been done many many times before.
They can't just say it was your oil that caused the problem .... they have to prove it.
