Need some help with a decision here...
Since my car is down (and in about 11ty billion pieces right now), I figured now is as good a time as any to do some mods I had been considering.
One that's a slam dunk is the FRPP Suspension package. I don't need any more convincing after reading from a bunch of people on several sites.
I was also looking at the FRPP "Drag Pack". But I was wondering if I should consider a different route...
The tuner they supply isn't the greatest.
The CAI uses the stock inlet tube.
I've already got a Hurst shifter.
I've not heard anything positive about the shorty headers.
Would I be better off just getting 4.10 gears, and then getting a CAI and tune(s) from another vendor, like Bamachips? The more I think about it, the more I think I should.
Also, in the FRPP catalog, I see a S197 car with FR500 wheels on it, but I don't see them listed as fitting an 05-up Mustang. Anyone know a part number and price offhand?
