need a new tuner - recommendations?

My SCT XC3 was stolen a few years ago while I had a 91 octane tune loaded. I decided I wanted to lower my gas costs, so had it put back to factory specs at a dealer. They wouldn't calibrate the speedo for a 4.10 diff., and the gas pedal has lost its responsiveness. While I don't really care about the speedo - I'm probably going back to stock diff anyway - I really miss the responsive gas pedal. Who's who in the tuning world these days?

Not an answer to your question, but I have an X3 I've been meaning to sell for a couple months now. I have the original packaging, receipt from American Muscle, everything that came with it, only used it a dozen times or so, looks and works like new, not married to any cars (after I put mine back to spec; takes 10 minutes), $200. PM me if interested.

I have the SCT tuner from AM with free BAMA tunes for life. Couldn't be happier. Put cams in and she started first try.

Have the SCT as well, had a blast at first but the fuel curve is a bit to be desired. What mods do you have besides different gears to warrant a custom/uncanned tune?

I want the responsive gas pedal back more than anything. A speedometer re-calibration would be a nice-to-have. The K&N CAI might be leaning things out a bit, don't know. Everything else I'm fine with at stock. I haven't been to the 1/4 mile for a couple years.

I got my original SCT from Doug at Bamachips. Evidently that company has evolved some in the past 5 or so years. Are they currently considered a reputable tuner? Is Doug still involved in the company?
