Need help with 2 power window problems

I need some help with 2 seperate power window issues I am having. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The first issue is on the passenger window. When I open the door or roll the window down. it makes a loud "snap" and then the window goes down normally. I too it to the dealer and they lubed the tracks, seals etc. it seemed to help at first but the problem is back after 2 days. Is there a way to adjust the window or even the door? My thought is that it may be held too tight against the seals.

The other problem I have affects both of the windows. Periodically, when I roll down the windows, they go down much further than normal. it makes it sound like the fall into the door. i can roll them back up and down and they work fine. It is very intermittent. I tried the reset procedure in the manual, but it didn't do anything. The dealer says they adjusted the stops (I dont know what this means) but, it didn't help anyway.

Again, any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Even if someone has the pdf for the power windows and instructions on adjusting the doors, that would be a great start.

I have the exact same problem when I roll the windows down on my '05. It only happens every now and again but I'm not too worried about it. All I do now is roll them down till there's about 1/2" of glass showing.

There is a calibration for this problem. It is in the manual but I think it is roll down windows and then hold button down for 5 seconds and do the same thing going up. I hope this helps.

Manystangs. Thanks. I've tried the reset procedure several times. Unfortunately it doesn't sove the problem.

It doesn't bother me too much either but it sure is annoying. I am waiting to install my speakers in the doors and if there is a fix for the windows, I would prefer to not have to take the door panels apart twice.

Mine does it also, I've done the re-cal thing but it still does it. I don't think it's a big deal most of the time, my driver's side sometimes bangs it goes down so far..... Just another Ford quirk.....
