I probably have a thread on it here or on another forum..
basically my car is exhibiting symptoms similar to those with 03-04 Cobras and dual fuel pumps, known as a hesitation when shifting at WOT.

my fuel pressure is steady on 75PSI when at WOT, then when it comes to shift, i'm obviously lifting my foot off the accellerator and the engine load drops naturally..
at that point the fuel pump drops the pressure to 15-20PSI then it raises slowly to level around 38..
only problem here, is that if i shift into the next gear and mash the pedal.. the fuel pressure won't rise up quickly enough to take the car to WOT, and the car falls on its face for a second.

the solution for the 03-04 Cobra guys is to remove a little piece of plastic on the fuel pump known as the PPRV (google PPRV delete, and you'll find TONNES of info).
however i seem to be the ONLY 05+ with that problem.. and all the fingers are pointing at my car being slightly different than the average car sold in the US.. as it's built for different (more flexible) emission standards, no rear O2 sensors, larger radiator and a different PCM calibration.

i'm still trying to get to the bottom of this, and it's such a pain in the #$$.
so far i keep an eye on my fuel pressure gauge, and either shift fast enough that the fuel pressure won't drop (not easy on the transmission).. or shift slow enough that the fuel pressure drops and comes back up at its pace (not easy on the performance )

Update? Hows the car coming along? I plan on doing the same thing you did. CS6 Hood and whipple.

no updates..
i got used to the issues i have, and pretty much gave up on getting them solved by Whipple or Ford Racing.
being all the way here in Dubai means i have no direct access to tuners that i can trust to take of the issues i have :S

EDIT: don't be discouraged by all this..
there are SO many happy whipple owners out there.. it sucks that i'm the only one suffering from this particular problem. so i guess it's something to do with my non-US PCM calibration.
