leaking out from around the shaft that the drive pulley is bolted to, ATI is sending a UPS pick up for it, and say it may take up to 3 weeks to get it back, which is nice and all since i have put less than 200 miles on it so far , looks like i will have to take alot of the other things off of the car so i will be able to drive it, its real nice to spend that kind of money on something, and it leak oil all over your brand darn new car.

Ugh. That stinks. Did you install yourself or pay someone else to do it?

It's the same exact message, so I would think its the same person, copy and paste. But you never know.

So does that mean 3 weeks of you not being able to drive your car? Why are they not overnighting you a replacement unit? Good customer service would be ( in my opinion ) them sending you a replacement and you returning the faulty part. Not you having to basically completely remove the entire thing so you can drive your vehicle while they repair the leaking blower. I mean we're talking a $4000 dollar ( or whatever you paid ) transaction here. Seems like they might want to keep folks as content as possible.

you have a near 30k car, if the motor blows in it, they replace the motor, not the entire car

in this case they fix whats wrong and get me going, i really dont care abouthaving a new unit, as this one has less than 200 miles on it, it just leaks some.

First off I really hope they make it right. Prochargers are known for leaking oil, which I found out after I purchased my kit for my 04 Cobra. I was in your shoes as my car sat for weeks waiting on the correct parts. They need to forget that self contained BS. Mine leaked right from the beginning at the seal which is what yours is doing. I then replaced the seal with a better unit and the oil stopped coming out there, but then it began to leak from the case itself and I was never able to fix it. I just had to clean it often and add oil  I hate to even say this, but I have always had great luck with Vortech and thats why I'll choose them for this car.

Man I feel your pain, I was there....

Thanks Mike

If there are any problems with the 05 mustang kits, please email me directly. I will help get it sorted out in a timely fashion. This blower will be turned around in a day or two.

I will add that PROCHARGERs customer service is TOP NOTCH as well, they have taken care of me well, i didnt even have to pay shipping to get the blower picked up , i dont know where these horror stories come from about their "supposed" bad customer service. they were very friendly and do what they say, i deal with vendors every day, and these days its hard to get something taken care of or replaced under warranty, no questions asked here, just takin care of business!!!

Id imagine it has something to do with you posting about it on a few message boards. If i were procharger and i knew you were talking about my product on message boards to a bunch of other possible customers that are basically waiting to see if you destroy your car with it, id be all about service with a smile.

No "supposed" stories here. I lived the nightmare. I'm glad they are treating you better.

Thanks Mike

My procharger shipped yesterday. Should have it tuesday.
I will say that reading most of the topics on the procharger has made me worried about it.

Thats why I will spend the extra money and go with the Whipple Supercharger.Has its own oil feed with no seals to leak.YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. :nono:
