msd window switch w/ zex system

msd window switch w/ zex system

how do i wire in a msd window switch to a zex system, they way i hooked it up didn't work. i just need to know where and how to wire in the normally open wire off the window switch. i have power ground and rpm hooked up right.

I've done it before. It's not pretty but it works. I'll post a simple picture from paint in a little bit.

the yellow wire is normally open and will add a ground once the rpm is reached. are you sure about that wiring? i dont need a relay?

Christ I forgot where the relay goes. The basic idea is to have the zex box completly turned off while out of the rpm range then when you enter the set rpm range, it turns on. It's hard because you can't get to the WOT or solenoids. It can be done though.

with the msd, which wire did you use to connect to the tach signal, did you use a coil wire? if so which one closest to the battery? thanks

Did it on one of the coil wires on the #1 cylinder. The first one on the left when you're looking at the car from the front.
