The intake is also specific to the vehicle and there is a part in the diagram that says "resonator" that is located near the air box. Pretty much Bullitt specific items, so if you love the sound...buy the Bullitt.

I don't think a "resonator" at the intake can make the exhaust sound different. I know my exhaust sounded different with the CAI, but most of that was from more airflow and the tune of course. But a resonator making the exhaust sound different??

I doubt if the resonator has much effect on the exhaust note. From what I've gathered, one would have to change the H-pipe assembly, axle pipes c/w cats, and mufflers with the attached 3.5'' tips. Mostly Bullitt specific parts. I'm sure someone's going to make the change sooner or later and see what results.

Aren't the tips part of the muffler? Or are they seperate?

I just had my stock GT H-pipe off yesterday, and that H-pipe looks exactly the same... it must be in the mufflers then.?.?

Edit: Anyone else notice they got rid of the H-pipe hangers on the trans cross member? I know my 08 OEM H didn't use them, but the rubber hangers were still there for the off-road pipe to slide into.

According to the Engineer, it looks the same outwardly but is diffferent internally.
