I installed the mmr cold air intake and flashed the computer with the SCT X 87 octane tune. My mileage went from almost 21 mpg to 17 after the install. Will this go back up or am I going to live with the poor mileage? I must admit that I probably had my foot in it more after the mods. I want to try the 91 tune but am afraid that it might even be worse. Will there be a noticable gain in performance after doing the 91 tune?

 

I recommend you use an "Unleaded" right foot...

 

Every perf mod I've made the mpg immediately went down on me. It always crept back up over a 300 mile or so period. Give it some time to find out. Yes, the 91 tune will give you more performance that you can feel.
