I would think the mechanical water pump is more reliable than the electric water pump. So long as it turns, it works right?

Not if the seal is bad. It all comes out on the ground. Same can happen with the electric. It is all for the extra HP and cooling your engine at the track.

Not to mention it flows a whole lot better than the stock pump in normal daily use, too.

I have been running mine for about 6 months now and have not seen any down side.

Can you use a Meziere water pump with steeda underdrive pulleys?

I have been running my EH2O pump for a month or two and have noticed something. I have a thin layer of clear oil almost like machine oil on the front of the pulley. Seems like maybe bearing oil spinning out of it. Normal? Anyone else notice anything similiar?

This statment kinda makes me nervous. Should there be a concern about it failing more than the stock pump?

I believe the MTBF rating was quite high. Obviously some will fail sooner than others and others will, well to quote the eBunny: "keeps going, and going, and going".
Some people just may not consider that aspect of a not-so-common part on a rather common vehicle.

Hi everybody I wanted to give you a heads up the sale will end at the end of the month. The normal price is $335 with relay shipped which is still a good deal but if you want the discount get it this weekend. I will think of some other part to put on sale for you guys for February.

Wonder what kind of price we can get on a KB or Saleen twinscrew if we could get 20 or so together. Maybe we could count Don W.'s Keenebell. What do you think. Are you in???

so who has put theirs in? Nobody is talking

You probably read about my issues in the Meziere install woes thread, so mine isn't in yet. I'll be trying again this weekend with a replacement o-ring (the stocker is exactly the same size). I'll report back after I get it working.
