Brent @ Brenspeed has expressed some interest in starting a group buy on the Meziere water pump. I'm in for sure. Anybody else interested?

Maybe Brent can fill us in on some specifics such as pricing and number of participants needed. I'm pumped about this. Ha, get it? Pumped?

I'll be interested depending on price. I've blown so much on other items this month - I may have to wait til Feb! LOL.

But it does enable you to cool the car down much quicker between runs... that alone is worth it.

I'll be track testing mine this weekend. But right now, I can drive the car for a while, and then shut it down. With the key just turned on, I can see the temp gauge start to drop. And I still haven't wired up a remote fan switch yet, so that is just with the pump running alone. Once I get the fan wired up, I expect it to cool even faster.

The other thing I noticed, was how tight the stock water pump is when I try to spin it by hand. It seems very stiff. The pulley on the e-H2O pump just spins nice and easy. There has to be some hp gains there...

.... at least as good as a new throttle body. bwahahaha

Don't these things add like 10 RWHP? I thought someone had some dyno results.

OK here is what I can do for all of you. I need 4 people to jump on board. You can order now and I will process all of the orders as soon as we get 4 people. I can keep the GP open for the remainder of this month. Maybe longer if I am contacted directly via e-mail or phone and we can try to work something out for you individually (sales@brenspeed.com) (574.834.7455)

You can order online or call me directly.

- FREE SHIPPING VIA UPS
- YOU GET THE RELAY AND PUMP
- YOU GET $30 OFF OUR ALREADY KILLER PRICE
- IN STOCK READY TO SHIP
- THAT LEAVES YOU AT $305 SHIPPED FOR EVERYTHING

The cheapest I can find the pump on the net with no relay is $308 plus shipping and handling and plus a relay which is $25 so $305 shipped for everything is a great deal. We currently have the pump and relay in a package for $335 shipped on brenspeed.com. With the coupon code you get $30 off our current price.

That means you get the pump, relay, and free shipping for $305 shipped.

You can do this two ways.

1. Call me and order 574.834.7455
2. Buy online and during checkout type in the coupon code "grouppurchase" and you will get $30 off.
CLICK TO PURCHASE USING "GROUPPURCHASE" COUPON CODE

Forgive my ignorance....but what is the relay for? IS this the thing that lets you turn the pump on and off without the motor running? If I just want it as a constant on when the car is running, is this part required?

The relay is so smart to use. The water pump pulls X amount of current. It is hard to find an existing wire in the engine compartment that can handle the power requirement of the water pump. That is where the relay comes in. You find a key on power source in the engine compartment and it is used to turn on the relay which demands hardly any current so about any power source will work. The relay allows power directly from the battery to the water pump. So in short the water pump is powered directly from the battery. The relay is a switch. You can wire the "switch" or "relay" into about any key on fuse in the engine compartment. I actually dont even run it to a fuse. I just spliced it into a harness and that had a key on power supply. I have a few pictures of different places you can wire it in. That will help you guys out that buy them.

Was this one of the harnesses you are referring to? I tapped one of the red wires shown here and it worked great (credit to hawgman for pointing this out to me).
