ryan1112,

I'm still learning everyday. But I did not know you could lubricate your shocks.

Now you have me questioning this. LOL I'm going to be doing my own oil changed and I though when you take a car to a shop to do it, they lube the car too.

Typically, the steering components are lubed. However, nowadays they are "maintainance" free and you can not grease the front end components. Not sure though on the 2005 Mustangs.

Hi Ryan,
I did my own oil change too. I've done a "few " over the years, I'm 55
I "m not aware of any grease fittings on the 05.
My sugestion is whenever you do maintenance give the car a good looking over.
Use your nose you'd be surprised how quickly you can detect coolant leaks and other problems. In addition to checking all fluid levels get used to looking at the belts, hoses and for any signs of leakage. check tire pressure
You can also lube doors, trunk, hood, door locks any place like that.
Hope that this helps.
