I already got em from you... The k springs... They will b here today :-) i just need to order a Panhard bar and adj bolts to make sure everything lines up... Such a boring purchase :-(

Hahaha - boring in comparison to other stuff, but crucial! Thanks for the business, and enjoy the springs. The FRPP K-Springs have excellent reviews on our site, so I know you'll be happy!

Yea they just came in... I thought it would come with paper instructions... Guess not :-/

If you follow the tacobill thread above and grab the fastener torque specs you should be good to go. You can also find service manual pages online. Keep in mind you may not need the panhard bar. Although it is a decent upgrade in itself.

FYI...

You can hold off on the Panhard bar until after you install the springs. When you go from full to 1/4 on a tank of fuel, the car will move back and forth due to the geometry of where the panhard rod attaches to the car and axle.

I have lowered seven S197s and only one "needed" a panhard rod. Typically if the drop is relatively small (under 1.5") then you should be close in the rear.

Another note, as stated in Taco Bill's write-up (props), you may be able to get the front aligned without camber bolts. I used them to dial in -1 for aggressive street driven setup.

Your alignment is a must, and the camber bolts being in the car when you take it for alignment is going to be cheap insurance.

Also, the rear shocks will go out shortly if you have 47K and are lowering. The Koni STR (Orange) shocks are my recommendation (Sam Strano). I have the Yellows that I bought from a member on here (rears only) and I pretty much have them set to "orange" for daily driving. I only turn them up 1/4 click for really aggressive track time, but I could have lived with STRs all around and kept the cash in my pocket.

All that said, STRs and Steeda Sports is probably my favorite setup for all around performance and the investment.

Friend who used to work for quantum performance installed my springs and did my alignment in an hour :-O

However b4 install he looked over car noticed my rear end was leaning and my toe was already off... I opted to go ahead and install springs instead of waiting for adj bolts and Panhard bar... Now my car is sitting all kinds of messed up lol... But my stuff should be in by tomorrow and we will fix everything at night...

Does anyone make a set with 1" front and 1 1/2" rear? I saw "FromZto5" FRPP K springs thread and it looks great but would like a level look.

Do i have to buy to sets, one 1" set and another set of 1 1/2" to pull this off?

The Steeda Sports seem to level pretty well. Seems like some guys were installing rear roush springs for the same effect.
