no. you are not.
The front fascia is lower by 1.5 but the car itself is not.
Look at the profile of the car and the wheel well gaps and it will be abundantly clear to you that that GT/CS sits as 4x4 high as every other stock production mustang...

its amazing, the guy just called ford to verify and they said they didnt know, but could tell him how much the car is. What is wrong with carsalesman. They should make them go home and study brochures on all there cars. It is pitiful.

Yes indeed, the front fascia sits 1.5 inches lower than the stock GT, but other than that, they're the same. I put the FR500 handling package on my GT/CS, which drops it 1.5 inches.

I also had a Ford salesperson tell me the CS was lowered 1.5 inches. When I told him it was only the front facia, he said I was wrong and that the CS was the same height as the Shelby GT!! Where do some of these people get their info?

The front is the same height, the rear is aproximately .5 inches lower. I measured at the dealership and also had a friend measure to confirm what I was seeing. I measured several regular GT's to make sure they all measured the same and they did. Hope this helps.

Car salesmen are idiots. My co-worker went in to buy her Mustang, and she asked about traction control and the dealer didnt even know what that was. The friggin button is right on the dash!!
I'd be scared to lower my car. Im extra super careful as it is getting out of driveways and dips. I should move to Kansas where it's nice and flat.

I asked a salesman how the rear seats fold down. He passed me off to the new car sales expert. He looked and said they do not fold down. I pointed out on the window sticker where is said fold down rear seats? He looked for a few more minutes and found it. This was in late 06.
From what I have seen most salesmen have slow parts of the day. Maybe they could read a brochure or two.
