just received them tonight and opened the box and notice that the o2 extentions werent in the box <_< . ok i really want to install them tomorrow but dont have the extentions yet, would it be safe to run the car without connecting the 02 sensors. they will be installed to the headers but wont be connected.

DO NOT JUST RUN THE HEADERS WITHOUT YOUR FRONT O2 SENSORS HOOKED UP, this is how the engine learns what kind of fuel/air condition is bieng experienced and will alter the fuel/air mixture through a "commanded" message to the fuel system. The engine will learn the new distance from the engine to the O2 sensor if it is plugged in but it basically will not receive inputs if it is not plugged in. It may not start or run long without being plugged in or worst case scenario your A/F's will be all over the place or in a "rich condition." Bottom line call your tuner or a tuner if you want specifics but IMO it is a BAD idea.

Just extend the O2 wire's yourself...Use good wire and conector's. Get yourself some high heat wrap at a speed shop and insulate the wire's good.
I had to extend mine because there were no extension's at the time (Oct 04)...There still working great. There are 4 wire's to extend on each sensor, if I remember right it is 20 ga. wire.

well got my headers install and had a problem. the headers and the prochamber wouldnt connect because they were far appart. so they had to cut a piece of the headers and weld in a piece of pipe to make them connect. first of all, sounds pretty much as same as when i had the offroad pipes install, sounds deep thou. before they installed them i ran the car with just the headers and darn was it loud. sounded like a real muscle car and made poeple turn from left to right. poeple seemed surprise to see an 05 with that sound. it was too loud, but it was fun while it lasted. by the way i got the hooker headers.
