Didn't I read where Doug said that they weren't going to get phased out?

Jerry originally said the Advantage 3 upgrade was going to be free, and now it is suddenly a $100 upgrade.

LiveWire does everything the X-cal 2 can do but also adds sensor readouts ala the Scangauge II, so I suspect that eventually the X-Cal 2 will be phased out but not overnight like the 9100 blue flasher.

Is there any way to mount this somewhere on the S197s? I'm thinking right above the steering column would be good.

I stand corrected. The LiveWire contains a G-Tech type device, so it does the job of a X-Cal 2, Scangauge II, and G-Tech. The accuracy/precision and quality of the "G-Tech" feature of the LiveWire is still up for debate.

It appears the ultimate cost would be $399.00, with SCT2 Xcal trade in, and would include three tunes.

The total cost is $344 through VMPTuning if you trade in an unlocked X-Cal 2, and about $469 if trading in a 9100.

The # of tunes is meaningless for PRP users though.
