William, he said your car was loud also, but he really didn't say which one was louder! I took videos of the dyno session, I'll try and get them downloaded, I'm still on a loaner computer,I'll be glad when my computer man gets my computer fixed. My car was loud before the ARH LT's,but now it's a lot louder, might be to loud. It's hard to believe that headers made it this loud.

Doug this quote below is something i read on another site and I am just wondering if you address these items this guy refers to and if so could you possibly shed some light on this topic and teach those of us who are interested? Without of course revealing any of your tuning secrets. I just thought it was a pretty bold statement for the person to make and would love to learn a little about it. Something which the original poster would not do.

It's gonna be a while 'til the tuner community as a whole learns how to deal with these ETC's properly. The ETC has several redundancies in it's control strategy, and the vast majority of tuners simply turn them off. This is not a good idea, as you get issues like what you're experiencing.

For the record, ETC is actually a very good thing, even for high hp applications. I used to feel exactly the same way you do about it until I started discussing it with the guy that calibrated the ETC on the GT500 for Ford. You just need to find a tuner that can handle the issues properly. Those individuals are few and far between right now, and I'm not even sure if the software that is available out there is designed to handle it properly.
Thanks,
Richard

Well the Oklahoma trip was closer for me as I'm in North Texas, but I'll be in Houston next Thursday thru Sunday. I was hoping it might be later this fall and my block might be built then and I could throw a smaller pulley on it and have him tune it.

Hey you all,

I met the famous Doug at Mustang Week. Actually he came by after I got in the Top 75 cars. He came over and introduced himself and we chatted briefly. He was super nice and shows good Customer Service to take the time to meet individual customers like that.
