Little update from Doug@BamaChips....
Little update from Doug@BamaChips....
Hey guys, and gals...
I just thought I'd tell you how things are going and thank you for your support!
First off my foot is fine now, got it out of the cast the first week in July. Next, my lasik went great too, now I can really look at a computer screen, hahaaa.
My help situation, I had a employee in April but when I broke my foot in the beginning of May you'd thought he had a broke foot as I barely saw him at all. Finally I ended up having to get a more reliable person. Now I have someone who used to work for a local SCT dealer, not really an internet company, and knows how to use a dyno. I have him coming by on Saturday's as he's really helpful.
I've removed my phone number from my website for a few different reasons. One, my phone rang from day light to dark and beyond. Most of the time it was just window shoppers or guys wanting tech support who hadn't bought anything from me. Still I was trying to keep up my good name and help out everyone I could. Unfortunalty being on the phone all day would take time away from my emails and they were pilling up, at one time I had over 400 emails in my inbox. On a normal day I get 80-100 emails, on Mondays I get much more. So I removed my number from the website and simply took three days of non-stop emailing to clean it out, I'm sure a few of you have gotten emails from me at 3 and 4 am.
I noticed when I did that that the orders on my site stayed the same if not increased. Also when I reviewed my orders taken by phone I was barely getting 5 a month compared to over 100 online.
So now I've removed it completely, for now, and will do further review this month and next to see if I will put it back up. Now please dont take this as me shutting down my phone support, I include 2 business cards with each tuner I sell with the number on it as well as most anyone can do a google search on Bamachips phone number and it will come right up. Now I get the amount of calls I can handle each day without falling behind on my important email support.
I'm having a new website made and it may be up by the end of the week, it will have one page ordering and hopefully it will help provide more of the commonly asked information. Beleive me I know I'd not be where I'm at today if it weren't for my customers and everyones help!
I want to say Thank you to everyone who has helped my customers or is a customer. I hope to keep growing in the months to come and more full time employee's are on the agenda.
Thanks!! Doug
P.S. I will be in Myrtle Beach this Wednesday-Sunday so if you're gonna be out there look for the red/white Roush!

Just wanted to thank you for loading tunes in my predator and sending the C&L Racer CAI. I know we were trying to get the street version and I guess after wating 3 weeks you decided to send the Racer. After installing the C&L Racer and loading the 91 tune I have to say I am happy as a pig in sh*t. Thanks for the help and hope your shop stuff works out.

Ha you guys think his tunes are great you should try one of his DYNO tunes F*ing AMAZING!!!!
After reading about how fantastic BamaChips has been for other members, I ordered the JLT/Predator package for my '06 GT from you last week. Take your time. I know I'll get it soon enough and it will be great!
Hopefully, I'll get to order a JLT/Excal combo sometime soon, still paying for my trip to 'Bama during to first couple of weeks this month. BTW, sweet car, Doug!! Got to check it out some a SVPU!!
Doug Dynoed tuned my car on Saturday, he tried to save me money by useing the Diablo that came with the Vortech, but after doing about 8-10 pulls, the car kept trying to go lean at around 4,500 rpm, so he had to start all over useing the SCTII , the air/fuel mixture starting getting better right from the start, then the next thing you know 11 psi across the rpm range! perfect! Doug has the results, but it made 468 rwhp @ 9 psi of boost, but he said it probly had around 20 rwhp ,but the car was getting hot. so all in all I'm very pleased.
Doug is the greatest! very good man to deal with...
PS: He said my car was freeking loud! ha ha ha...

Great to hear your health is getting better Doug. Your a god on this site and it is well deserved! I am a future customer and when I put the order in for a CAI and tune you can bet it will only be from Bamachips!
