LCA issue

So I bought a set of adjustable LCA's. They are heim join on one end and solid on the other. I was wondering if anyone else has come across this before. The "bushings" or whatever they are called on the heim joint do not go all the way on to the bolt to the bolt head. This is because my bolts are tapered and larger the last 5/8th of and inch. I could just drill it out but I am working with the manufacturer to make sure it is done right. Also I have a blue bolt in the torqe box and a black bolt in on the axle side. They are of course painted. Is this the norm or do I have some kind of factory/dealer freak. I bought it new and it has never had work done on the rear suspension.
