Just orderd resanators from Summit...

I have SLPs LM and the O/R H...and around 2400-2600 the raspy trumpeting makes driving really embarrasing and annoying. SO i heard these resanators will help

UMMMM so i hear you weld them before the axle? Not the way alternative auto had them welded?

Some pics would help...and some advice thanx guyz!

Keep us posted on how it works out for you. Also take pics of where you installed them. I also want the off road h-pipe but dont want to get rid of my loudmouth so if these work I'll be getting them.

I've also read that you can stagger their side-by-side placement by a few inches, which helps break up the harmonics even more.

I thought the resonator went on after the mufflers. I assume they work the same either way??
can you post a link to the ones you bought please.

If you did it that way, they'd stick out of the back of the car about 2 feet.

pretty funny I know that. I should have said I thought thats where they were desinged to go, and are they as effective if you put them before the mufflers. I know there's not much of a choice here. I think I would change out the crappy sounding mufflers before adding resonators.

If I was going to add them, I'd put them between the H crossover and the axle. That seems to be the longest "straight" run under there.

Same thing... after the H (or X) and before the axle.

yes before the axle... if i had one chance to put them on, I would put them as close to after the h or x or whatever as possible.... that's my gut feeling
