Trap would be, I doubt the DA would be.

Density Altitude. Basically they take into account the weather conditions, track location (elevation), etc. so someone racing in Denver with **** DA, can compare their runs to someone here with mineshaft air.
If your DA at the track was ****, then that could help explain your low Et's / trap speed.

**** I wish the tracks were open here in maryland. Interested to see how I do the first time. You said you launched at 3000rpm, is that the ideal rpm to launch from? With your mods, I'm sure any higher would be hard to keep traction with regular tires.

then it's off to modland.
i'm thinking you might need 3.73's or 3.90's with those cams...i can't remember where i read it but they recommended at least 3.73's to deal with the loss of low end torque. so, i feel that if you have 3.31's, even launching at 3K rpms, you may be launching below the torque curve and bogging it off the line. if gears are on your build list, it sounds like they would be helpful.
There is one in Cecil County. Pretty close to me and I know american muscle takes their project cars up there a good amount during the season. I'm hoping to get up their a lot once they open.
You said conditions were beatiful, does that mean low temps and low humidity for a decent DA?
As an example, if I got to The Richmond Dragway in Sandston Va, my old 07 GT would run mid to low 14s. If I ran at Bud's Creek MD, the same car would run high to mid 13s with track prep and Density Altitude being the biggest factor between the two tracks.

You can usually look up the DA here: http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-...calculator.php
