How common is it for out cars to blow up rear ends?

 

all the time... there is some det cord and c4 in them on a timer....

lol, in all seriousness, only time i see them is from ****ty driving , always bashing and no maintenance on them

 

Haha yea that's kinda what I figured. Started going to the track like once a month so it came to mind when I saw some dudes wheel and axel roll by him after a burnout lol

 

I haven't heard of too many going out, with that said mine feels like it slips sometimes. I let off because it feels like its slipping not often but sometimes. 63k miles. No track time

 

Last year my pinion bearing shredded , but that was with 373 gears , S/C and about 80k miles on them ...

 

Yea I guess after years of abuse they're bound to let go. I know I'm gonna break stuff due to the way I drive, just wanted to know when I might be able to expect it haha. I'm at 64k and theres noticeable backlash but nothing alarming yet...
