On top of finally getting my push button start last night, i went and purchased the JET Performance Module Chip. Since day 1, I have been skeptical about the reflashing and tuning the ECU and what not. I'm sure some of the tuners have gotten their bugs out and everything to make the mustangs run well with CAI and whatever bolt ons that supposibly needed a tune. For now, Im playing simple and safe. I've had a good long talk with JET again and they said that to gain Max. Performance, an intake and a exhaust is required, which I have. It'll be here tuesday and I will install that along with my Push Button Start as well and give you guys a MULE test of the product for those who are not wanting to do a computer reflash, but get the same benefit by plugging in a chip. Have A Good Weekend Everyone!

I'll be up in Northern NJ this weekend meeting another fellow TMS member up in the town I used to live, Fair Lawn. I'll be up there till sunday if any other TMS is around there and wants to meet up and hang out.

i Had the jet initially as a test project from them.Overall I liked it.If you don't expect a whole lot going in you will be happy. It does help the throttle lag some and a bit in the mid range. There is NOT a big perfomance increase with this module, but install is a breeze!...Plus,when taking it into the dealer for service just pop it out and there is nothing they can see!.I do not think it is 20ish hp like Jet claims, but it is a nice compromise between stock and a flash.

I've had the JET on my 02 V6 and I def felt a power difference! And everything in the vehicle was bone stock, except for the drop in K&N Air Filter. JET Claimed 15-25 horses and the car def felt like it had 20 more horses under the hood. And I've had JET send me the dyno sheet with the claims of 20 horsepower with the 05 and based upon my experience with JET in the past and keeping good contact with them, I feel confident about their gains. If I don't feel anything, then I'll take it to a Dyno.

you will notice a difference as I did, but it is not a major difference.let us know how you like it and dyno it if you get a chance.I didn't dyno mine because I knew it was only a short term thing for me , but dyno reports can be easily "manipulated"

Well I put my Jet chip in today. I'm not really sure if it makes the 20 HP like Jet claims but it definetely pulls harder than before. I think if anything, the car got a major torque boost. Overall, its a nice little addition for those of us who can't/ don't want to tune. BTW, i'm still running it on 87 without my intake. I'll update you guys when I fill up with 91 and get the intake.

All these little bolt ons are just a temporary fix until I can afford a blower.

Any probs with the Jet install? I got my GT back from the shop with the engine light on (also had K&N CAI installed, along with Flowmaster axel-backs). Apparently my installer screwed up the CAI and I was getting a chirping/squealing noise at low idle; of course he denied it had anything to do with his installs, so I ended up going to the Ford dealer. Turns out the tube going to the crankcase needed to be drilled out (way too narrow) because it was gasping for air, causing the noise. Anyway, Ford diagnosed the engine light to be the chip; turns out it was putting out 12V to the oil sensor and should only have been 5V. So to have Ford repair my $200 installation cost me another $236! :-( And the chip sits in my beverage holder. Any thoughts?

Geez, Maverick, just read your mods... almost identical to mine!! What did the throttle body spacer gain you? I think that's next.

1 horsepower and about 12 lbs of torque, per the guy who dyno'd it for us, its a terrific mod! O and not to mention, throttle lag COMPLETELY GONE!
