George,
I have very much enjoyed reading about your CAI system. You have done a great job of recognizing the areas where your design was a little off and then doing something about them. Your sliding grommet looks like a truly ingenious, long term solution to the engine movement problem. Congratulations on a job well done.

Well it's finally finished. I added a bung under the inlet pipe for the nitrous nozzle. I put a hose in through the side of the elbow and made an aluminum fitting for the breather hose, glued the MAF housing to the pipe, and painted it semi gloss black.

I called about the A/F guage and it is still on backorder. One of these days I'll get to use it.

Hey that looks familiar...

Great job man. Looks great for sure.

Yes very nicely done. Where did you get a wideband AF meter, and how much was it?

I've seen A/F gauges all over the pricing scale. From $45-$150. I'm not sure what the difference is between the few, but there better be significant difference to shell out $150 over $45.

Jay is right, that CAI does look familiar...It looks like the CAI that George has been working on. B)
George, I think it looks awesome. Maybe you could put together a assembly/instruction sheet with all your dimensions and such info.

Why not use a wideband 02 sensor? Isn't that a more accurate tool to tune your car?

DUUUUUDE! your a genius! thats pretty awesome man. i always admire ppl who build things for themselve and do things for themself instead of paying to get it done.

what you have done is the essesnce of what hot rodding is all truly about. you deserve some commendation.

maybe a C/T: "first member to build custom parts for his car" lol

dude, that freakin rocks, its guys like you who inspire me to want to hot rod whatever car i can get my hands on even more.

steeda? wn3d:
MMR? wn3d:

finally, again, you rock. i hope to see some more custom parts from you in the future. if not, thats cool too. you've already done some amazing work.
