So if you were to run the Bassani's, you couldent use the cats? I want LT's but want cats on them. I don't want to smell like my car. My 65 had Long tube Hookers, with 2.5in tubing and flowmasters, and every time I got out of the car I smelt like exhaust.
I haven't had cats on my car for about 8 months. I have no problem with exhasut fumes. Especially if I'm inside the car. The tips are way at the rear of the car... unless you are at a redlight and the wind happens to be blowing towards the front of the car, you won't even smell the exhaust. Much less smell like the exhaust.

I can understand on a '65. They have come a long way in insulating a car in 40 years.

So I guess if you can't smell it it must be ok? Too bad for the poor b@$t@rd$ sitting at the light behind you.

So I guess we have a smart@$# in the group. I was responding to someone who was complaining about how they would smell from having no cats. Why would anyone worry about the person behind them?

If you have exhaust leaks, then you have exhaust leaks. Headers, cats or low blinker fluid have nothing to do with it!
