I ran Live Load and the state is unlocked with the stock program. It also states it's v1.3. I plugged the XCAL into the car to read the strategy for my tuner and it read an error. Any ideas? This is for an 05 GT

I was able to get my Strategy via my predator btw.

Is this still an issue for us thinking of buying the x-cal now? On x-cal 2 & or x-cal 3?

I almost panicked today as I took my car intoday so yesterday I returned the tune to STOCK then read & wrote down the stategy sequence, Today I get the car back I FIRST try to read the stategy (WTF) so I opened the hood noticed both battery terminals painted blue ? SO I have a plan I disconnect the ground count to like 45 seconds put it back on , I then go inside reset the clock on the car, I then plug in my X-Cal & read the stategy whalla it was the same number as when I returned it to stock, so I reloaded each tune and they all work.
I did ask them not to reflach the ECM so no idea if they did so, so if you take your car infor service put back to stock-read stategy & write it down, then when you get car back disconnect the ground from battery and reconnent then read stategy and if sequenc match's you should be good !

Has anyone had the airbag recall done? Did your strategy change?

I had the airbag recall done, my strategy code did not change. I will be re-installing my intake and tune on Tuesday afternoon, it will work just fine.

Hrrm I'm a little confused still. Does this tip still apply if you are NOT going to reflash to stock before taking it in? I'm just going in for the airbag, which shouldn't affect the PCM but who trusts dealers? And then you say to contact SCT for a tune of the code changes, but that part confuses me too. What exactly would SCT be sending me..a canned tune for my blower? I have a custom tune now. Or are they just sending you some kind of firmware update to flash into your SCT II before you reflash with your tune?

So I have to take my car into the dealer for the air bag recall. I have JBA Lontubes along with the JLT intake. If they reflash the PCM on my car will I be able to drive it home safely with the stock tune? My code right now is TJF1 btw.

They don't reflash that part of your PCM so don't worry about the airbag update.

I just made an order from Steeda, does the SCT X3 Power Flash suffer similar issues?
