These sound great Tony. I think they sound a little tinny (tin-like). But I loove the "recoil" is what I'd call it. Great price too.

I'll take my video camera with me this weekend. We're having an all-weekend long road trip to Canyon DeChelly in N.E. Arizona.

Ya, I don't like them because they are louder than my magnapaks :bang:

Ok, Ok, so after going nuts wondering about what exhaust setup to go with I finally took the plunge and ordered. It's a setup I have yet to see anybody else with and didn't feel like waiting to get feedback on how it sounds. Guess I'll be the guinea pig.
Bassani X-pipe w/highflow cats AND the Borla axle backs.
Take the deep, loud Borla rumble and add the Bassani highflow cats & xpipe and hopefully this should rock!

One of our club members ditched his Bassani's... So, I am steering away... I didnt like the sound anyway.
I am defintley going with straight pipes, now I just gotta figure out what else!!! I have been told off-roads will give me the sound I want..
I need to make a decision soon. Everytime I get around anyone with exhaust mods I am GREEN with envy... my lttle stock GT is sounding like a little girl next to all these bad hineys!

You're going to love that setup
I get the thumbs up everywhere I go for my FRPP/Borla's. I had to go through an underpass every day going to my old job, and it was such a beautiful sound. My new job is even better I get a lot of long straights to open her up with no one around!

So, how big are the tips on the Ford Racing mufflers? This Big!

Can you perform this install without the use of jackstands? Yes, my 250 lb fat butt says so!

Does having a second pair of hands help? Yes, this way someone can take pictures of you!

Me and WadesSonicGT got together this weekend to intall my Ford Racing/Borla mufflers. It was hot out, but we got her done. The sound is incredible. I didn't bring my movie camera with me, but they sound just like this sound clip anyway, actually they sound better than that in person.
Absolutely incredible sound!

Hey Tony,
Grats on your new mufflers. Give them a couple of weeks to burn in. They do get louder and deeper. I have the Borla catback and am still on the fence about going with the off-road mac pro-chamber. I am just afraid it would just get ungawdly loud. Don't know. BTW, those gold stripes look awesome on that redfire. Going for the headers this weekend??
Scott

P.S. I have an auto also and if the drone does every get more than you care to listen too between 45 - 60 mph just click the OD off and the drone completely disappears.
