So, how big are the tips on the Ford Racing mufflers? This Big!

Can you perform this install without the use of jackstands? Yes, my 250 lb fat butt says so!

Does having a second pair of hands help? Yes, this way someone can take pictures of you!

Me and WadesSonicGT got together this weekend to intall my Ford Racing/Borla mufflers. It was hot out, but we got her done. The sound is incredible. I didn't bring my movie camera with me, but they sound just like this sound clip anyway, actually they sound better than that in person.

Absolutely incredible sound!

I'm sure this has been asked ad nauseam, but how bad is the drone with these? I have SLP loudmouths and it's just getting really annoying.

I think drone is a very subjective thing. They ALL drone to some extent, even the stock mufflers did. I will say this, at between 1,800 and 2,000 rpms with a little throttle input, it will rattle your teeth. But, I find it easy to modulate the amount of drone with throttle input as well.

I'm not bothered by drone at all, but if you are, this may not be the system for you

Yeah, but I've been dealing with the loudmouths for so long, these things have got to be an improvement over that amount of noise.

Well, the price I could get the FRPP/Borla's made my decision for me.

There was NO WAY I was going to pay $500+ for a pair of mufflers, no matter how good they sounded.

This way I got the best of both worlds, great sound AND great price

I am right with ya, got the FRPP on my car and LOVE them! Was at work the other day and parked outside the one conference room, they had to mute the phone when I left.

Need to do that more often...

How much were they if you don't mind me asking.

I'm torn between the Borla and the Bassani's. Thanks.

I was able to get them for $375 through my local dealer. Your mileage may vary.
