Supercharged with stock mufflers

Is anyone out there running big HP numbers with a blower and still have the stock GT mufflers on their car? I wonder how it would sound. Won't the car get a bit louder just because of the forced induction? I used to like real loud cars when I was 16, but I'm 29 now and not a big fan. I could tolerate the car being a little louder, but can't do the really loud mufflers anymore.

Something like Borla Touring would be a good option for you - more flow but not a ton more noise.

2011 - 1 3/4" Kooks with " green " catted X pipe & stock mufflers. ( 2.9 Whipple )
.
2014 - 1 7/8" Kooks with " green " catted X pipe & stock mufflers. ( 3.4 Whipple )
.
Louder than stock & if more noise is needed, just put the right foot down.

I witnessed first hand, a customer at the shop where I was getting my exhaust done, had Borla Touring exhaust installed on his F-150 and his truck got even quieter than stock. I didn't like it at all. he did it because of the TIPS that came with the Touring exhaust.

Interesting. As I think about this more, it probably wouldn't make a difference to his original question anyway - new axle-back exhaust is nothing but sound anyway, no performance.

I wonder how it would sound with a blower, long tubes, stock resonators, and stock GT mufflers lol

At the very least I'd go GT500 AB route. Those cans are made to handle flow from 5.8L SC Trinity motors. Plus they sound awesome and deep in the process without being obnoxious.

doubtful, his posts usually are intended to brag about what he has, and provide no helpful information.

I don't have "stock" mufflers per say but i have gt500 Axlebacks.

When i went from a stock GT to a blown GT i couldn't tell that much of a difference in sound coming from the exhaust.

I ran stock mufflers for almost a year with my vmp. Not much sound difference with the SC and if you want a deeper tone try the gt500s.

Not big HP numbers, just a Roush 625 phase 2 kit with the stock GT exhaust system on my daily driver. The exhaust note sounds identical to a bone stock 2013-14 GT.

Have 2 videos of the 11 on the dyno, which won't help you much.

People in the Mustang community, especially the GT500 crowd, seem obsessed with how their cars sound.
There are several threads on the SVTP site, where members tried several different exhaust systems, looking for the " perfect " sound.
There are hundreds of videos on the net, every possible combination of exhaust system.
I never paid any attention to it. The car sounds how it sounds with the mods I have.

Stating what my exhaust system consists of seems to be pretty low on the brag scale..
....... ( but it did answer the OP's question )
It provided the same amount of useful information that your post provided..
...........( & we get to look @ the mod list in your sig ! )

Well I did kind of want an opinion of how it sounded instead of just stating "I have a supercharger and stock mufflers." It would be helpful to know how it sounds. Link me to those dyno vids, I'd like to see them anyway

If you're deleting the cats, stocks or more likely GT500 are the best options. I have the GT500 with a lethal H and it's about at my limit noise-wise.

My favorite sound was cats, 3" H-pipe, no resonators with GT500 AB. Added a VMP and removed the cats and cold starts or WOT and it screamed...would wake up neighbors a block away. I've since added the stock mufflers back on. Quieter then my fav set-up but will do for now.
