Hurst shifter installed - rattle/clunk slipping clutch into 1st

So i installed a hurst into my car yesterday, and now i'm getting this rattle, almost even slight clunk that sounds like its coming from my trans area. It only happens when slipping the clutch into 1st or reverse. I have an aluminum driveshaft, though this does not sound anything like a driveshaft vibration and has always been dead quiet. I did also install a different transmission crossmemeber, one with the factory mid-pipe mounts to hold a new x-pipe i have in there. The shifter even has neoprene washers in between the handle and on all other bolts, so the shifter itself hasn't rattled at all. Any ideas on what could be causing a noise while slipping the clutch?

After another drive it seems almost like a driveshaft/axle vibration? its definitely not the shifter rattle, that is much quiter and subtle in comparison. This is a vibration that you can feel. Anyone have any experience with driveshaft vibration only while slipping the clutch into 1st or reverse?

Found the culprit, my SLP X-pipe's hangers are rubbing on the metal casing of the exhaust mounts under the trans. There are marks on the hanger and the mounts. anyone else have rubbing on this hangers?

I keep hearing about Hurst noise. I've had a Billet Plus for a year now, and haven't had the first rattle or any other noise. My linkage DID come off a few weeks ago, but a simple roll pin and some silicone fixed it.

There was a time when Hurst set the standard - there was absolutely no substitute. Don't know what happened but George Hurst must be spinning in his grave.
