How Do You Safely Remove Vinyl Stripes??

I need to get mine off the car, but I don't want to botch it up...can I just peel them back?

Thanks for any input!

Add a little heat from either a hair dryer or a heat gun and they'll peel right off. A heat gun would be better as it's a little hotter than a hair dryer.

Sixty-Six is correct. Use a heat gun. It will work much better than a hair dryer. Just don't get it too close to the paint. A heat gun is much hotter. Just take it slooooooww.

What ever you do don't just pull them off. I just took mine off so I could re-do them. I did not use heat I just pulled them off and they left a lot of residue. It was a major pain to remove.

I just stuck mine in the hot Florida sun for a couple of hours. The stripe on the roof I was replacing came right off in one piece, with no residue. Took around 5 seconds.
