How Big Of A Tire!

How big of a tire could i possibly go,safely, on the FORD 18' Polished Alum. Bullitts? Im looking to go wider on the rear 2 tires. Seeing as they come stock with 235/50/r18. I would like for the tire not to bulge so what would be my best bet. Any info is greatly appriciated.

Thanks

255/45/18's are a perfect fit at all four corners. If you really wanted to a 275/40 would fit but probably would bulge a bit.

I was thinking of keeping the stock 235s on the fronts, and going 275s out back. This setup would not hurt anything would it? Also, would the lit bit of a bulge that the 275s would create look stupid or would it look decent??

If it’s a 9” wide wheel you can safely run - 275/45/18’s to 275/35/18’s

The rims size of the stock 18' rims are 18x8.5. Would it be safe to run a 275 out back?

It shouldn't be an issue I have a local friend that runs 275’s on his factory bullits and has for over a year now.

To get the tread to hit the road correctly you may need to adjust the tire pressure a bit so it wears evenly across the tread.

If you do this, I would go with a 275/45, not 275/40. The latter will be smaller in diameter than your fronts and would look goofy. It's better to have the backs being a bit bigger than the other way around.
