help got a problem

ok i have a set of liquid metal, today i put new front and back pads on , now when i put the front wheels on i noticed that the rim rubs very very slightly on the caliper... i checked everything made sure the pads where all correct and double checked.. would it make a difference that the pads are new and are thicker ... no problem all before new pads... any ideas why???

If you did not put the wheels on when the brakes are new, you don't know the true clearance.
With new pads, the caliper will be slightly farther towards the rim because the pads are thicker.
I was just discussing this the other day at a car show.

Depends on who says they fit.
The guy selling them or people that have tried them on cars with no miles on them.
Just because the lug pattern is correct and the offset is right, doesn't mean there will be no clearance issues.
Also are they stock pads or aftermarket? Even the stock pads might be a hair thicker than the original ones.
If you have the right tools, you can take off the pads and flat grind the surface down just enough to fit.

did you press the brake pedal a few times so everything is set where it will be running?

I assumed that had been done, but I guess I probably should have said that, huh.
