Header gasket

Is it better to buy a new header gasket from the dealer or use the one supplied in the kit? This will be for mac longtubes. Thanks

Edit- I forgot the mac longtubes do not come with header gaskets. Can I just pick up a set at a local ford?

re-use your stockers.... they come out just fine and are easily reusable....

many on here have done that.

if your not cool with that, order some new stock ones from ford.

Just reuse your stock ones. No problems since the install.

If I remember correctly I have stock gaskets and its good.

BTW, you might see a drop in high end PSI with the L/Ts. Least I did, my Vortech kit wasn't able to make 10psi with the 3.60" pulley. I only saw 7psi at 6300RPM. I had to swap into a 3.33" pulley(purchased from Brenspeed) to make the psi.

Shop said you lose back pressure with the LTs. Are you doing O/R prochamber also? Your going to love the sound.
