I'll be really interested to see what the LTs do for you on top off the other mods on your car. Please post the new #s if you can.

Maybe I missed it, but what are your list of perf. mods??

Thanks

Ryland

That is why my interest in the new coil packs and other "squeeze a few more HP mods out"

Official Style I wonder how it is that you tune and throttle body could make up for your lack of LT's to make more HP as compared to my car. What type of axle backs are you running? What is your WOT air/fuel ratio?

What mufflers are you running by the way?
297 with just SLP LM's, a CAI & a tune? That's extremely good. From what I've read that's what most people are getting with all that plus UDP's.

I only pulled 285 with Doug's performance tune & SLP's. The tune & CAI only gave me 18hp. (267hp with SLP's alone)

Hi there

Just gotta give Doug the thumbs up! Since I installed my CMRC delete plates I had a few issues with fail safes. Doug sorted this but I felt the throttle was not quite as good even though the car was feeling quicker than ever.

Anyway Doug has spend the last couple of days looking at SCT's mods for CMRC deletes and has found some stuff, he has since done me a new tune which we are both working on together. He told me it may cause engine fail safe so I need to test it for him.

All I can say is upto now done 1 hour of all types of driving and this new tune is unreal, my car has never pulled so hard from down low and it really does go mental as the revs climb towards 4000rpm. I am keeping fingers crossed that this tune will not cause any fail safes. Even if it does I know Doug will tweak it a little more until the problem has gone and I still have awsome power and throttle response.

Doug is the man and anybody who has CMRC Delete plates may want to ask him for the new Race tune we've been working on together but probably best to wait a few days just to make sure that all is OK.

I think I will go with this new tune. Might be a nice change from the torque tune

without the throttle body, i was at 309rwhp. i took it off cuz the LFP one blows. so i pulled 322rwhp and 330rwtq. that is with cnl intake, steeda UDP, american racing longtube 1 3/4" headers and catted x pipe and flowmasters. i also have the powerhouse driveshaft. i am happy with this amount of power. the AR headers killed the drone, i have NONE now. i am finished modding the engine of my car. just need my cervinis hood on and its done. i think the max the a/f goes to is 13.2 or 13.3 im not sure. this thing screams with the big headers!

The 315 is SAE corrected and I'm thinking some people might not be posted their corrected numbers. Any thoughts? Also is anyone else running rich with their 93 Race tune?
Hey guy,

If you goto the dyno and get a/f results I always offer a free adjustment on anytune. If you can give me the a/f readouts over RPM then I can adjust this for you. Now also what is it running? Some dyno shops say that 12.8-12.5 is running rich when it is the best for making power on these cars, not the all mighty 13.0. Just let me know and I'll be happy to make this even better for you!

Just please email this info to me though as I barely get to read the forums anymore because I get so much email.

thanks!! Doug.

Sure thing Doug. Hey Official Style are these SAE corrected numbers? I'm just curious. I'd really like to find out if it's really just the tune making the difference. And not knowing much about driveshafts other than the stock one is heavy as hell and the new aftermarket ones are much lighter, are they good for any horsepower gains.

The lighter driveshaft will give you more hp at the wheels since the motor is having to turn less weight.
