handling without lowering?

I want to do some super handling on my car, but I cannot lower it in the front. My driveway allows for 1/3-3/4" clearance as it is. So, I figure I can get away with 1/4-1/2" on the front and probably 3/4-1" rear (I'll be doing 275/35/20's so that will afford a smidgen of room). What springs/shocks/struts are recommended? I'll still be doing the chassis stiffening mods.

I'm not aware of any stiffer springs that don't lower it (or only a smidgen like you need) but thicker sway bars would help handling, and I'm sure the afer market shocks/struts will control the bounce a bit more, to help out.

Talking Suspension Setup

I would go with:

Springs: H&R OEM Sport Springs - lowers 1 inch front, 3/4 rear.
Steeda Control Arm Relocation Kit - moves your control arms up 3/4 inch
Steeda G-Trac Brace
Tokico D-Spec Shocks & Struts

only problem is he said he can only go for about a 1/2in drop in the front and i am the same way because if i go with the Cervini's front it allows for 5 1/2in clearence and if i drop an inch the dips here will tear the bumper apart

The new Mustang doesn't have much for front overhang. Do you have to go over a curb to get into your driveway or something?

I had the Shinoda chin spoiler on my stock '05 GT, and I scraped it everywhere I went in Las Vegas. My own drive-way, intersections all around town, parking lots, etc. I finally got so tired of it I took it off. I can imagine that would be a lot worse with the car lowered. And that spoiler doesn't hang down too much farther than the stock bumper cover.

(that Shinoda spoiler's for sale, if anyone wants it. Cheap.

My driveway inclines steeply from the street. I'll get my wife to help me get an accurate measurement of ground clearance here soon. I know that running a taller tire will afford a tiny bit, I just don't wantto kill my front end by simply coming home. I already plan on doing subframes, strut tower brace, shock tower brace (why not?), and probably a Watts link over LCA/UCA's. Swaybars will be upgraded, and the panhard if needed. These are easily done with the tools/knowledge/mechanical skills I have. IDK if I can do springs/struts, so I want to make sure that all is good before I have to pay twice for them.
